JERSEY CITY, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | The New Jersey City University's baseball team will need to wait at least a few more days to get a game in on its home field. NJCU's non-conference game with Baruch College on Tuesday, March 28 has been postponed due to rain and field conditions; a new date has not been determined.

The postponement marks the ninth this season against seven different opponents, including the fifth change to the home schedule at NJCU's Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex.

Weather-permitting, NJCU will finally play at home when it opens its New Jersey Athletic Conference schedule with an 11:30 a.m. doubleheader on Saturday, April 1 against No. 25 ranked Kean. Prior to that, NJCU (4-5), winners of three straight, is slated to play on the road at Staten Island (March 29, 4 p.m.) and Mount Saint Mary (March 30, 7 p.m.).
