JERSEY CITY, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) |
New Jersey City University's 2018-19 women's basketball season opener—and the start of the Coach
Pat Devaney, Sr. era—on Thursday, November 15 will have to wait two additional days as NJCU's home non-conference (8 p.m.) game vs. Pratt Institute has been postponed due to snow.
The stronger than anticipated Nor'easter impacting the entire region forces the earliest postponement to a men's or women's basketball game in school history. Both of NJCU's campuses, in Jersey City and Wall, N.J. have been forced to close at 6 p.m. due to the weather.
NJCU and Pratt will attempt to make up the game later this season. That new date, when determined, will be announced on NJCUGothicKnights.com and @NJCUAthletics on Twitter.
