New Jersey City University women's basketball team in the first half, 48-5, and defeated NJCU, 84-17 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game on February 14 inside Stockton's Sports Center.

Stockton (17-8, 13-5 NJAC) clinched the No. 3 seed in the upcoming NJAC Tournament, finishing one game in front of Rowan, after it shot 42.5 percent (37-88) on the night as its bench outscored the NJCU (0-21, 0-18 NJAC) reserves, 38-7 and held a 54-6 points in the paint advantage. The Ospreys outrebounded the Gothic Knights, 79-33. NJCU shot 7-of-67 overall.

Freshman center
Gianna Benacquista (Belleville, NJ/Belleville) scored seven points and grabbed four rebounds (all defensive) in 32 minutes while sophomore center
Melissa Etienne (Maplewood, NJ/Columbia) secured a season-high nine boards (seven defensive) and added four points in 26 minutes of action to highlight the team's performers. NJCU's 12 turnovers against Stockton is the second fewest in a game this season for the Gothic Knights.

Three-time NJAC Defensive Player of the Year
Sasha Williams (Cherry Hill, N.J.) hauled in 18 rebounds (12 defensive) and scored 14 points (7-13 FG) in only 20 minutes. The senior forward now has 533 career blocks (ranked second all-time in NCAA Division III history) and 101 blocks this season after swatting away two against NJCU. Senior forward
Najha Treadwell (Cinnaminson, N.J.) shot a perfect 9-of-9 from the floor for 18 points and hauled in 11 caroms, including her 1,000th career rebound, early in the first quarter as she played 18 minutes on the night.

Also for Stockton, sophomore center
Mckenna Forry (Waterford, N.J.) added 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting, hauled in seven boards, and blocked a career-high five shots in 14 minutes of work. Junior forward
April Peterson (Lafayette, N.J.) also had seven rebounds. In total 15 different Stockton players saw time against NJCU with 12 of them scoring at least two points. All 15 had at least one rebound.
