Updated: March 21, 6:41 p.m. to include postponement vs. Drew
JERSEY CITY, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | The latest Nor'easter to strike the Mid-Atlantic has forced three changes to the
New Jersey City University athletics calendar and the full impact on its outdoor sports schedule won't be known until at least Thursday.
The NJCU baseball team's scheduled non-conference game at St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn on Wednesday, March 21 (3:30 p.m.) is postponed. The two schools will collaborate to attempt to come up with a new date.
The weather has forced the cancellation of the men's volleyball team's home match against Yeshiva University (7:30 p.m.) at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center (Coach Charlie Brown Court). The match will not be made up.
Additionally, NJCU baseball's scheduled home opener against Drew University on Thursday, March 22 at 3:30 p.m. has been postponed until Wednesday, April 11 at 3:30 p.m. at the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex.
Men's volleyball is next scheduled to host Maranatha Baptist of Watertown, Wisconsin on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the JMAC.
