JERSEY CITY, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | The New Jersey City University Community Outreach Team, along with eight NJCU student-athletes, volunteered at the annual JC Families Spooktacular on October 27 at the Harborside Atrium.
The student-athletes helped with setting up for the event, as well as supervising multiple stations at the sold-out Halloween-themed event.
The eight NJCU student-athletes who volunteered were:

- Lamya Young (Audobon, NJ/Audobon) (Cross Country/Track and Field)
- Samuel Colon III (Newark, NJ/Eagle Academy) (Cross Country/Track and Field)
- Shaneeka Benekin (Jersey City, NJ/Lincoln) (Cross Country/Track and Field)
- Laura Ford (Leonia, NJ/Leonia) (Women's Soccer and Softball)
