JERSEY CITY, N.J. — The New Jersey City University men's golf program and head coach
Joe Yeck announced the Spring 2022 portion of their schedule today, Thursday, Jan. 7. As of now, the Gothic Knights are competing five times throughout the duration of their schedule, highlighted by their Spring Break Trip to Myrtle Beach and their first-ever Atlantic East Conference Championship.
NJCU kicks it off with the aforementioned Spring Break Trip. The NJCU women's golf squad will also join the men for some practice time on the course before beginning their 2022 Spring campaign, as well.
Ten days later, the Gothic Knights resume competition for the two-day, 36-hole
The Ruckus tournament, which will be hosted Premier Collegiate Tournaments on Saturday and Sunday, March 19-20, at Williamsburg National Golf Club in Williamsburg, Va. NJCU competed in another Premier Collegiate Tournament this past Fall,
The Gauntlet, to open the 2021-22 season.
The squad then returns to its home state of New Jersey for back-to-back weekends of competition. The Knights begin with the Arcadia University Spring Kick-Off Classic on Friday and Saturday, April 1-2, at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood, N.J., with both rounds set to tee off at 12:00 p.m. Then, on Saturday and Sunday, April 9-10, NJCU will compete in the Garden State Collegiate Classic, hosted by Drew University at Flanders Valley Golf Course in Flanders, N.J., again with both rounds teeing it up at 12:00 p.m.
