KENILWORTH, N.J. — The New Jersey City University men's golf team hosted a dual match on Tuesday, Oct. 25, against rival William Paterson University. The Gothic Knights competed against the Pioneers on the par-71, 6,855-yard Galloping Hill Golf Course, but fell to WPU, 344-355.
Freshman
Tamuda Kaseke (Harare, Zimbabwe/St. John's College) led the way for NJCU with a fourth-place round of 86, while Greg Kepic of William Paterson placed first with a round of 84. One spot behind Kaseke was rookie
Tim Bock (Glen Gardner, N.J./Voorhees), who shot an 88 to finish in fifth. Junior
Taj Piontkowski (Califon, N.J./Voorhees) tied for sixth at 89, while freshman
Walter Pierce (East Orange, N.J./St. Benedict's Prep) tied for eighth with a 91. Senior
Zachary Ware (Fort Lee, N.J./Fort Lee) placed 10th with a 93.
