DANBURY, Conn. — The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced today, Monday, April 11, its field for the 2022 Division III Men's Volleyball Championship. The New Jersey City University men's volleyball team has been selected as the top overall seed and receives a bye into the semifinal round.
The first round will be played at various locations on Wednesday, April 13, and the semifinal and final rounds will take place on the campus of #2 seed Ramapo College in Mahwah, N.J., on Saturday, April 16.
Jersey City will face off in Saturday's semifinal round at 11:00 a.m. with the winner of the first round match between #4-seed Penn State University-Altoona and #5 the City College of New York. Should they win, the Gothic Knights would then advance to the championship match, which is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. later that day.
This is the first time since 2013 that NJCU will compete in the ECAC Championships.
