POTTSTOWN, Pa. — The New Jersey City University women's golf team sent a pair of competitors to the Ursinus College Fall Invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 27, which was held at the par-71, 5,357-yard Raven's Claw Golf Club. Both Gothic Knights placed within the top 14 in the 18-hole tournament.
Sophomore
Destiny Duhaney (Freeport, Bahamas/Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Academy) led the way for NJCU, as she placed 12th overall after shooting her second-straight round of 97 to start the 2022-23 season, which ties once again for the second-lowest of her career.
Freshman
Meadow Ciccarella (Hawthorne, N.J./Hawthorne) was just two spots behind her in the standings following her round of 104 to place 14th at her second-career collegiate competition.

Jersey City now takes a week off from play before returning to the course on Monday afternoon, Oct. 10., for the Muhlenberg College Invitational at Lehigh Country Club in Allentown, Pa.
