MAHWAH, N.J. — The New Jersey City University women's volleyball team squared off with New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) foe Ramapo College on the road on Tuesday night, Oct. 17. The Gothic Knights were defeated by the Roadrunners in three sets.
NJCU (2-14, 0-6 NJAC) was led by rookie setter
Scarlett Torres' (Union City, N.J./Jose Marti STEM Academy) match-best 10 assists against Ramapo (15-1, 4-1 NJAC). Senior
Katrina Nguyendon (Union, N.J./Union) led the Gothic Knights with nine digs, as well. Sophomore
Marina Millett (Matawan, N.J./Saint John Vianney) led the Green and Gold with two aces and chipped in four digs.
