JERSEY CITY, N.J. — The New Jersey City University department of athletics has announced several scheduled changes/postponements for Saturday, April 15, due to the impending inclement weather. Three programs, the baseball, softball and men's tennis teams, have had their Saturday contests postponed.
Scheduled to be at home for Senior Day, the NJCU men's tennis program's match against Lehman College at the Lincoln Park Tennis Center has been postponed to a to-be-determined date later in April.
The NJCU softball program was scheduled to host Stockton University for a pair of New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) contests at the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex on Saturday. That conference doubleheader has been moved to Sunday, April 16, still at the Gerrity, with game one scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. Game two will follow shortly after the completion of game one.
Jersey City baseball was scheduled to go down to Rutgers-Camden for a pair of NJAC games, as well, on Saturday. That doubleheader has also been moved to Sunday, still in Camden, N.J., with game one between the Gothic Knights and Scarlet Raptors scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.
