NJCU Athletics Lands 70 Student-Athletes on Fall Dean's List

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — New Jersey City University announced its 2023 Fall Semester Dean's List recipients and 70 Gothic Knights student-athletes were among the 1,280 honorees.

NJCU students are eligible for the Dean's List if they are enrolled full-time (12 or more credits) and earn at least a 3.50 grade-point average for the semester.

The Green and Gold women's soccer program led the way with 10 selections, while ESports followed with eight. The baseball, softball and men's soccer programs each had seven honorees apiece, followed by six each for women's bowling and women's cross country and track & field. Then is was four per team for men's basketball, men's volleyball and women's volleyball. Men's track & field and women's wrestling follwed with three honorees each, while women's basketball had two and men's wrestling had one.

An outstanding 40 student-athletes posted at least a 3.80 semester GPA this Fall, including 12 that earned a perfect 4.0.
