BRUNSWICK, Maine — For the second time in the program's 54-year history, the New Jersey City University women's basketball team has been officially selected to the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship Tournament. The Gothic Knights — New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Champions in three of the past four seasons — were selected to the tournament's 2024 installment via an automatic bid from
this year's NJAC Title win. NJCU will take on #RV/20 UMass Dartmouth in the First Round on Friday, March 1, with a 4:00 p.m. tipoff. The weekend will be hosted on the campus of #11/16-ranked Bowdoin College.
The Polar Bears will serve as host for three games between Friday and Saturday, March 1-2 — two First Round ones on Friday and one Second Round tilt on Saturday. Should they win, the Gothic Knights wills square off with the winner of the Bowdoin versus Western New England University matchup in Saturday's Second Round, which is set for a 6:30 p.m. tip.

Tahirah Kelley (Linden, N.J./Immaculate Conception), senior forward
