Current NJCU Director of Athletics Robert Cole served as the program's head coach from 2014-17, during which the Gothic Knights qualified for the tournament three times. Current head coach, and the program's all-time wins leader, Carlo Edra returned to the NJCU sidelines in 2020 and has taken the Gothic Knights to the tournament in three straight seasons, including the first ever Skyline Championship win in program history in 2021, which also led to a berth to the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time ever.
