LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA. – The New Jersey City University (NJCU) women's cross country team competed in the 4k race at the Lincoln University XC Invitational Tune-Up on Thursday, Oct. 16. The Gothic Knights finished fifth out of six teams, posting a total time of 1:50:33 and scoring 112 points.
Host Lincoln University claimed the team title with a score of 34, followed by Central State (43), Medgar Evers (76), and Neumann (98). PSU-Brandywine rounded out the field with 154 points.
Leading the way for NJCU was fifth-year standout
Reyanna Henderson (Pemberton, N.J./Pemberton Two), who finished seventh overall with a time of 19:37.40, now ranking sixth in program history.
Raven Orange (Carteret, N.J./Carteret), a senior, also made her mark in the NJCU record books, finishing 17th in 20:08.1, which now ranks as the eighth-fastest 4k time in program history.
Freshman
Kiona Webber (Hackensack, N.J./Hackensack) followed in 29th place with a time of 22:11.8, continuing a promising debut season. Senior
Tonna Ogina (North Brunswick, N.J./Highland Park) (24:17.9) and junior
Kiara Taylor () (24:18.1) rounded out the scoring five for NJCU, finishing 30th and 31st, respectively.

The Gothic Knights will return to action at the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship on Saturday, Nov. 1, hosted by Stockton University.
