Rogers-Robinson & Fitzpatrick Named NJAC Players of the Week

PITMAN, NJ | Bakhi Rogers-Robinson (Orange, N.J./West Caldwell Tech) and Kai Fitzpatrick (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough High School) were named New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Player of the Week for their respective sports.

Kai Fitzpatrick (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough High School) had a career week, highlighted by a 36-kill, good for 6th all-time in the history of NJCU, 28-dig outing in the five-set win over Mount Saint Mary College. In that match, Fitzpatrick hit .329.  In the other two matches of the week, Fitzpatrick tallied a combined 25 kills and 26 digs. With the completion of the regular season, Fitzpatrick has amassed 430 kills which places her 7th all-time at NJCU, the first new student-athlete to break into the top-10 in 18 years for the Gothic Knights. 

Rogers-Robinson also had a career week to start the season. In the 81-70 win over Pratt, he tallied a career-high 39 points on a red-hot 58% shooting from the floor and 80% shooting from behind the arc. Defensively, he led the team with four steals, while adding three rebounds.
