GREENWOOD, IN | The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025 Men's and Women's Soccer Academic All-District teams on Tuesday afternoon. For the men's soccer team, Kevin Alves (Rutherford, N.J./Rutherford) was honored, while women's soccer had four award winners in Natalia Jaramillo (Bergenfield, N.J./Bergenfield), Arianna Chavez (Roselle Park, N.J./Academy for Allied Health Sciences), Gineth Arias-Martinez, and Sophia Veloso (North Arlington, N.J./North Arlington).

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom, who meet the eligibility criteria of being at least a sophomore academically and athletically while maintaining a minimum 3.5 GPA.

Alves earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the second year in a row. Alves was a mainstay in the starting lineup for the Gothic Knights and finished 5th on the team with 9 points, which included a team-high five assists.

Natalia Jaramillo (Bergenfield, N.J./Bergenfield) picked up her second CSC All-Academic nod as she finished the season with two points, both coming from assists. Arianna Chavez (Roselle Park, N.J./Academy for Allied Health Sciences) recorded 1,129 minutes on the pitch and tallied three assists on the season, good for three points. Gineth Arias-Martinez padded the stat sheet this season and finished second on the team in points with 16 with five goals and a team-high six assists. Rounding out the awards for the women's soccer team was Sophia Veloso (North Arlington, N.J./North Arlington), who was a formidable foe in the center of the pitch. She finished 7th on the team with 1,230 minutes and a goal.
