Women's Soccer Lands Five on All-NJAC List

November 05, 2025

PITMAN, NJ | After another season with a trip to the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Semifinal, the New Jersey City University women's soccer team landed five players on the NJAC All-Conference list.

Kyanah-Belle Jean-Louis (Montreal, Canada/Washington Township (N.J.)) headlined the postseason awards for the Gothic Knights with a First Team All-NJAC nod, the first award of her career, and the first Gothic Knight to earn that award since 2023. Jean-Louis started 9 of 9 games in conference play for NJCU and paced the team with 810 minutes. Her one goal was one of the most important of the season as it lifted NJCU past Rutgers-Newark, 2-1, to keep their NJAC Tournament hopes alive. The defender was a key part of the Gothic Knights' stout defensive unit, which finished 5th in the conference in goals allowed.

Nyrohah Alvarenga (North Bergen, N.J./High Tech) picked up her second Second Team All-NJAC award of her career. The senior midfielder racked up four goals in conference play to go along with one assist for a team-leading 9 points. Alvarenga was the catalyst for the Gothic Knights all season long as she often found her teammate for a goal and was able to beat the opposing keeper to put her team ahead.

Isabella Ramirez (Elmwood Park, N.J./Elmwood Park Memorial), Aubrey Gulbin (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains-Fanwood), and Sophia Mannino (Burlington, N.J./Burlington Township) landed on the All-NJAC Honorable Mention list. For Ramirez and Gulbin, it is the first postseason recognition of their careers, while Mannino previously earned First Team and Second Team honors. Ramirez was electrifying for the Gothic Knights in her freshman campaign, tallying three goals and an assist in NJAC play, while Gulbin found herself on the defensive unit where she instantly made an impact. The mainstay between the pipes, Mannino kept NJCU in games with her ability to quickly make saves to deny opposing attackers.
