Men’s Basketball Picked Seventh in 2025-26 NJAC Preseason Poll

PITMAN, N.J. — The New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) announced its 2025-26 Men's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll on Thursday, Nov. 6, with New Jersey City University (NJCU) selected seventh in the rankings.

The Gothic Knights will look to climb the standings after finishing seventh in 2024-25, posting a 14-13 overall record and an 8-10 conference mark.

Montclair State University, the defending NJAC Champion and last year's top seed, headlines the poll with four first-place votes. The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) followed in second, also receiving four first-place votes, while Stockton and Rowan rounded out the top four. Rowan collected two first-place votes as well.

Kean and Ramapo placed fifth and sixth, respectively, with Rutgers-Camden tabbed as the conference's "dark horse" pick after being voted eighth. Rutgers-Newark and William Paterson rounded out the poll.

The Gothic Knights will open the 2025-26 campaign on Saturday, Nov. 8, when they host Pratt Institute at 2:00 p.m. inside the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center.
