NEW YORK, NY - The Gothic Knights track and field team raced at the NYU DIII Invitational hosted by New York University on Saturday, February 15. 

Reyanna Henderson (Pemberton, N.J./Pemberton Two) shined for the Gothic Knights in the 200m dash, posting a time of 25.59, good for first and a spot at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championships. Alonah Olden (Lake George, N.Y./Lake George) finished 5th in the 60m dash with a time of 9.22. Tonna Ogina (North Brunswick, N.J./Highland Park) placed 4th in the long jump with a distance of 5.26m before taking 5th in the high jump with a height of 1.60m. Her height in the high jump qualifies her for AARTFC. 

In the weight throw, Shyanne Anson (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Poughkeepsie) finished 15th with a throw of 11.74m and was followed by Evelyn Tahmazian in 20th with a distance of 11.20m. 

On the men's side, Christian Palmer placed 26th in the 200m with a time of 23.72 and was followed by Anthony El Helou (Beirut, Lebanon/Kfarchima) in 53rd with a time of 25.73. Isaiah Ramirez (Edison, N.J./John P. Stevens) gave the men's team their highest finish of the day, taking 3rd in the 400m with a time of 50.75. Goncalo Carvalho (Newark, N.J./East Side High School) raced his way to a 33rd place (2:08.24) finish in the 800m. Sirell Clark (Jersey City, N.J./University Academy Charter) picked up a distance of 13.02m in the weight throw, good for 15th.
