Track & Field Races at the FastTrack National Invite

STATEN ISLAND, NY - The men's and women's track and field squad participated in the FastTrack National Invitational held at Ocean Breeze in Staten Island, NY on Friday, February 7. 

Anthony El Helou (Beirut, Lebanon/Kfarchima) finished 109th in the 400m dash with a time of 55.48. In the 800m, Goncalo Carvalho (Newark, N.J./East Side High School) recorded a time of 2:07.99 while Jeremiah Sanders finished close behind in 77th with a time of 2:09.30. In the field events, Kenny Balisage (Roselle, N.J./Roselle Park) finished in 24th with a distance of 11.06m in the triple jump. 

For the women, Alonah Olden (Lake George, N.Y./Lake George) finished 79th in the 200m dash with a time of 31.10. Tonna Ogina (North Brunswick, N.J./Highland Park) led the Gothic Knights in the triple jump, taking 21st with a jump of 9.88m. In the weight throw, Evelyn Tahmazian finished 40th with a toss of 10.03m while Lucy Pelaez (Jersey City, N.J./Snyder) finished two spots behind with a distance of 8.83m.
