ROCHESTER, NY - The New Jersey City University men's wrestling team went 0-2 at the Tiger Duals hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) on Saturday, February 8.

Lucas Torre (Point Pleasant, N.J./Brick Memorial) gave the Gothic Knights an early lead via a major decision over Jacob Deysher at 133 in the opening match against No. 20 RIT. Dean Costantino (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) followed up with a major decision win of his own at 141 over Josh Post. NJCU would fall in the remaining weights and lost the match 39-8.

The Gothic Knights then squared off against John Carroll in the second match of the day. Torre again gave the Gothic Knights the lead with a decision over Alex Crane. Costantino also picked up a victory over Ty Daugherty at 141. At 157, Zach Vera secured a win over Sam Partain with a decision and was followed up by a win from Michael Cross at 165.
