Doyle, Pardasie & Henderson Earn NJAC Honors

PITMAN, NJ - The New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) recognized three New Jersey City University student-athletes for their performances during the week of March 24-30. 

Freshman sensation Meaghan Doyle (Hardwick, Mass./Quabbin Regional) was named NJAC Rookie of the Week after she batted a robust .556 which catapulted her to the top of the NJAC with a .492 batting average on the year. This week, she helped the Gothic Knights go 4-2 with a win over NJAC opponents Rutgers University-Camden for just the fifth time in program history. On the week, she tallied 10 hits and six RBI, bringing her season total to 20, placing her fourth in the NJAC. 

Marcus Pardasie (Paramus, N.J./Cresskill) added another NJAC Player of the Week to his resume this week. Pardasie finished the week hitting .536 with 40 kills, leading the Gothic Knights to an unblemished 4-0 record on the week. Defensively, Pardasie added 18 digs and five total blocks. 

Finally, Reyanna Henderson (Pemberton, N.J./Pemberton Two) had an exceptional day at the Ramapo Invitational, securing three top-100 finishes in Division III. Henderson's performance in the 100m was particularly remarkable. She earned a personal-best time of 12.40 seconds during the 100m prelims, which ranked her 17th in the Division III standings for the 2025 season. She went on to finish first in the finals with a gold-medal performance, setting another personal best of 12.24 seconds. This impressive time now ranks 10th nationally in Division III for 2025. In addition to her success in the 100m, Henderson also competed in the 200m, where she earned a bronze medal with a time of 24.87 seconds. This performance is ranked sixth in Division III for the 2025 season and now seventh in program history.
