LOUISVILLE, KY. — 119 student-athletes from across the country were named to the 2025 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III Pitcher and Player of the Year watchlist on Thursday afternoon, and making history for New Jersey City University (NJCU) is freshman Meaghan Doyle (Hardwick, Mass./Quabbin Regional). Doyle becomes the first player in program history to be selected to the prestigious watchlist, an achievement that highlights her remarkable contributions in her debut season.

With a .500 batting average, a 1.222 OPS, 32 hits, 22 runs, .534 on-base percentage, and a .688 slugging percentage, Doyle has been a dominant force at the plate.

In the NJAC, she ranks in the top 10 in seven categories, showing her all-around skill and consistency. Doyle is third in batting average (.475), fourth in slugging percentage (.656), fourth in on-base percentage (.514), and fourth in OPS (1.170). Additionally, she is ranked 10th in runs scored (20), ninth in hits (29), and eighth in RBIs (20).
