PITMAN, N.J. | Phil Kramer (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) was named New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Pitcher of the Week, the first of his career, for his dominant performance against Hood College.
Kramer (1-0) mowed down a career-high 12 batters in seven innings of work. In the victory, he surrendered just three hits and one walk on 82 pitches to lead NJCU past Hood, 8-1. On the week, the Gothic Knights went 1-1-1 with a tie against Wilson after 10 innings due to darkness and a loss to Gettysburg in the season opener.
