EWING, N.J. | The New Jersey City University (NJCU) men's and women's track and field teams competed at The TCNJ Invite and Multi, with the Gothic Knights delivering several standout performances highlighted by national rankings and personal bests.

Tonna Ogina (North Brunswick, N.J./Highland Park) dominated the field events, sweeping first place in both the high jump and triple jump. Ogina cleared 1.60m in the high jump before delivering an exceptional performance in the triple jump with a mark of 11.51m that ranks 10th nationally in Division III.

Reyanna Henderson (Pemberton, N.J./Pemberton Two) captured first in the 400m with a season-best 57.93 that ranks 58th nationally in Division III. She added a fourth-place finish in the 200m with a season-best 25.25 that ranks 37th nationally.

Raven Orange (Carteret, N.J./Carteret) finished fifth in the 200m with a time of 25.56 before placing seventh in the 400m at 1:01.39.

Lucy Pelaez (Jersey City, N.J./Snyder) competed in four throwing events, recording her best performance in the discus with a 21st-place finish at 23.60m. She placed 14th in the javelin (15.99m), 16th in the hammer throw (25.72m), and 16th in the shot put with a season-best 7.90m. Izabella Luna (Belleville, N.J./Belleville) finished 19th in the shot put with a distance of 6.67m.

Kyanah-Belle Jean-Louis (Montreal, Canada/Washington Township (N.J.)) finished 15th in the 100m prelims with a time of 13.65.

David Dewberry (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) led the men with a third-place finish in the triple jump, posting a mark of 12.92m. He also placed 10th in the long jump with a distance of 6.18m.

In the sprints, Thadisen Liddell (Blackwood, N.J./Highland Regional) finished 29th in the 100m prelims with a time of 12.07, while Kameron McGainey (Union, N.J./Union) placed 30th at 12.25. Gerard Victor (Irvington, N.J./Donald M. Payne Tech) finished 27th in the 400m with a time of 53.59.

Isaiah Ramirez (Edison, N.J./John P. Stevens) delivered a personal best in the 800m, finishing 11th with a time of 2:01.16. Goncalo Carvalho (Newark, N.J./East Side) placed 19th (2:04.51), while Danny Wilson (Jersey City, N.J./Ferris) finished 40th (2:25.97) and Peter Chrysler (Trenton, N.J./Highland Regional) placed 42nd with a season-best 2:42.46.

Johnair Gonzalez (Jersey City, N.J./William L. Dickinson) competed in two field events, placing 11th in the high jump with a clearance of 1.65m and 23rd in the long jump at 5.13m.
