COLLEGEVILLE, PA | The New Jersey City University men's and women's track and field squads raced at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championship hosted by Ursinus College.
Raven Orange (Carteret, N.J./Carteret) took 22nd in the 100m preliminaries with a time of 12.52 before placing 32nd in the 200m with a time of 26.04. Reyanna Henderson (Pemberton, N.J./Pemberton Two) finished 4th in the 400m with a time of 56.43 while also recording an 8th place finish in the 200m, crossing the finish line in 25.18.
In the field events, Lucy Pelaez (Jersey City, N.J./Snyder) took 36th in the hammer throw with a toss of 30.70m. Tonna Ogina (North Brunswick, N.J./Highland Park) placed 10th in the high jump with a height of 1.55m.
For the men, Pratt Charles (Jersey City, N.J./University Charter) led the way with a 2nd place finish in the 400m with a time of 48.20 while also placing 12th in the 200m (21.90). Goncalo Carvalho (Newark, N.J./East Side) recorded a 27th-place finish in the 800m.
