Alvarez on Pardo: “Pardo is making a transition this year to second base after being a backup catcher last year.  He is built like an absolute bulldog- literally- and we are looking for him to start for us this year.  Although, he is making the move over this year he is no stranger to the position and can hold his own. An aggressive player who plays the little game but can also drive the ball.”
