2011 Highlights: (3/6 vs. Penn State-Altoona @ Russ Matt Invitational): Scored twice for the Knights in Game 2. (3/7 vs. Pitt-Greensburg @ Russ Matt Invitational): Was 3-for-6 with two runs and one RBI. (3/11 vs. Wittenberg @ Russ Matt Invitational): Collected an RBI. (3/17 @ Alvernia University): 1 RBI groundout. (3/25 @ Neumann University): Added a 2-for-5 showing in a leadoff role, increasing his career hits total to 132—13th in school history.  (3/26 vs. St. Joseph's College-Maine): Had two hits in each game to increase his career hits total to 136. (3/27 vs. St. Joseph's College-Maine): Went 1-for-4 with an RBI, his 137th career hit. (3/31 vs. Drew University): Collected two runs and two steals and batted 2-for-4, increasing his career hits total to 143... Additionally, the two runs gives him 97 in his career and ties him for fourth place on the all-time charts. (4/6 @ College of Staten Island): Had one hit, increasing his career total to 147. (4/9 @ Rutgers-Camden): Was 1-for-5 with one RBI... The 149th hit of his career. (4/15 vs. Kean University): Was 3-for-4 with a run and RBI...Became the fourth player in NJCU baseball history to score 100 career runs...Increased his career hits to 153-sixth all-time. (4/19 @ St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn): Notched his158th career hit. (4/22 vs. The College of New Jersey): Was 3-for-5 with three runs and established a NJCU record for hits in the first three seasons of a career with 161. (4/25 @ Rowan University): Had four hits in the doubleheader.  (4/26 @ Baruch College): Generated a 3-for-5, one-run effort and swiped his 20th base of the season... climbed into second place in the 64-year history of the program with 168 hits in only three seasons of action. (4/27 vs. Montclair State University): Was 3-for-6 with two runs and his 21st and 22nd stolen bases of the season, moving him into fifth place in school history with 63 swipes... now has 171 career hits (second place). (4/29 @ Montclair State University): Upped his second-place career hits total to 173, batting 2-for-5. (4/30 VS. Richard Stockton College): Was 2-for-4 with an RBI, run and his 23rd stolen base of the season... upped his three-year hits total to 176, now just 20 hits shy of NJCU's all-time program record of 196. (5/3 @ Centenary College): Added his 177th career hit—19 shy of equaling the program career record—and had one RBI. (5/5): Named the New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association (NJCBA) Division II/III Player of the Week for week eight of the 2011 season. (5/6): Voted to Second-Team All-New Jersey Athletic Conference. (5/13): Named Second-Team All-State as a utility player for the 2011 New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association.



2010 Highlights:  (3/9 vs. SUNY Oneonta in Vero Beach, FL):  Scored twice, going 1-for-3 with a walk...(3/20 vs. St. Joseph's College of Maine): 
Combined to go 5-for-9 with four runs and two RBIs in the doubleheader...(3/24 at CSI):  Scored twice, batting 2-for-4...(4/1 at Montclair State):  Was 2-for-5 with one run...(4/13 at Lehman College):  Was 3-for-6 with three RBIs, three runs, two steals and a triple...(4/15 at Rutgers-Newark):  Went 2-for-5 with one run and picked up his 15th stolen base of the season...(4/17 vs. Rutgers-Camden):  Had one of NJCU's two RBIs in game one...led all players in game two, going 3-for-5 with one RBI...(4/18 vs. John Jay College):  Was 1-for-4 with three steals and one RBI...His single gave him 50 hits, becoming only the fifth player in school history with two 50-hit seasons and on of just three to do so in their first two seasons at NJCU...(4/21 at Drew University):  Stole his 20th base of the season, marking the second year in a row he has reached the 20-steal plateau...(4/23 vs. Rutgers-Newark):  Was 2-for-4 with two runs... (4/24 at Stockton):  Was 4-for-8 in the doubleheader...Collected his third consecutive multiple hit game and now has 20 multi-hit games this year...He leads the NJAC with 56 hits...(5/1 vs. Rowan):  Became the first player in program history to achieve two 60-hit seasons while accomplishing the feat in back-to-back years... Had 62 hits in 40 games as a rookie, finished the year with 60 hits in 37 games,

as he had three hits and two runs on the day... Only assistant coach CHARLIE AULETTO, who had 71 hits in 1994, has collected 60 or more hits in a season in program history...(5/5):  Was voted Second Team All-New Jersey Athletic Conference by the league’s head coaches...Played and started all 37 games for NJCU (13-24) as the team’s leadoff hitter, batting .387 with 60 hits in 155 at bats while stealing 21 bases in 27 attempts...The 5-foot-11 left-handed batting Gonzalez scored 39 runs and added 19 RBIs with four doubles and two triples for 68 total bases...He walked 11 times and was hit by one pitch for a .431 on-base percentage with a .439 slugging rate and six sacrifice hits...He posted a .932 fielding percentage with just nine errors in 133 chances, and struck out only 10 times all year...He led NJCU in hits, steals and at bats and ranked second in runs scored and batting average...


2009 Highlights: (2/21 at Farmingdale State College): Led off both games and went 2-for-4 with one RBI in the opener...(3/5 vs. Gwynedd-Mercy College at the Russ Matt College Invitational): Scored both runs and had a double in a 1-for-3 showing...(3/10 vs. Drew University at the Russ Matt College Invitational): Went 3-for-5 with three runs and three RBIs...(3/11 vs. St. John Fisher College at the Russ Matt College Invitational): Was one of three players to go 2-for-4...(3/11 vs. Curry College at the Russ Matt College Invitational): Was 3-for-5 with three runs and an RBI...(3/12 vs. Keystone College at the Russ Matt College Invitational): Was 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI...(3/27 vs. William Paterson): Had a 3-for-5 showing...(3/28 vs. Richard Stockton College): Scored four runs while delivering two RBI and going 5-for-8 in the doubleheader...(4/1 at College of Staten Island):  Was 3-for-6 with a run...(4/6 at Kean University): Was 2-for-5 with a run to extend his hitting streak to seven games...(4/8 vs. College of Staten Island): Was 2-for-5 with four stolen bases...Extended his hitting streak to nine games and swiped four of NJCU's seven bases in the game...Became the third different player on record in school history to steal four bases in a game...(4/9 at William Paterson University):  Posted his 15th multiple hit game of the year and extended his hitting streak to 10 straight, posting a 3-for-5 effort with four of NJCU's eight runs out of the leadoff spot...He added his 14th stolen base of the year...(4/16 at Montclair State University):  Extended his hitting streak to 11 games and upped his NJAC average to .500 in nine games (20-40) going 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI...(4/17 vs. Kean University):  Had one of NJCU's only three hits- a single...(4/18 vs. Ramapo College):  Drove in NJCU's lone run but had his 12-game hitting streak snapped in game one...In game two he went 2-for-5 with two runs scored...He reached the 50-hit plateau for the season, marking only the 18th time that has happened in program history...(4/19 at Rowan University): Went 3-for-5 with one run scored, giving him 54 hits on the season...(4/23 vs. Rutgers-Newark):  Had his 56th hit of the year for the Knights...(4/24 vs. Montclair State University):  Had his 57th hit of the year, marking only the fifth time in program history that two players have pounded out 50 hits in the same year, with teammate Michael Fiorentino notching his 50th hit of the year in the game...(4/26 at Rutgers-Camden):  Scored three runs and drove in two RBI, going 2-for-5...(4/27 at Centenary College):  Collected two doubles...Went 3-for-6 with two runs, one RBI, his 20th steal of the year added to the two doubles...While obliterating the previous school record for at bats in a year (175, previous mark was 156), he finished the season with 62 hits, becoming only the second player in school history with 60 hits in one season...Also finished his rookie campaign with 45 runs scored- one shy of the single-season mark of 46 by Rob Sumner in 2005 and tied for the second most in team history...
