Biography

For starters: As a freshman in 2010, will vie for a starting role in right field. Will also serve as the back-up second baseman.
 
Coach Quimpo on Rudick: “She has an extreme high aptitude for the game. She’s smart and is willing to get out of her comfort zone to be the best player she can possibly be. Will gain more experience this year. She has made major strides during the preseason.”

2011 Highlights: (3/7 vs. Eastern Nazarene): Hit 2-for-4. (4/6 vs. Montclair State University): Was 1-for-2 with an RBI.


2010 Highlights:  (4/15 at the College of Mount Saint Vincent):  Slugged her first career home run, a two-run shot...(4/22 at Fairleigh Dickinson University):  Was 3-for-4 with two runs scored...(4/24 vs. Stockton):  Contributed hits in both contests...(4/29 at College of Staten Island):  Went 2-for-3...
 
High School: A 2009 graduate of Northern Valley Regional High School-Demarest in Demarest, New Jersey where she played four seasons of varsity soccer and softball for the Norsemen, including two years of varsity in each sport…Had a 3.6 GPA…She played AAU softball for the Valley Stars.
 
Personal: Samantha Rudick…Born November 14, 1990 in Closter, NJ…Right-handed…Parents are Carmela and Richard…Has an older brother, Anthony…Her mom and brother are both NJCU graduates…Declared major at NJCU is Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology…She wants to be an elementary school teacher…When not playing softball, enjoys acting and surfing.
