2011-12 season: Out for the year with an arm injury. Did not play.

2011 Highlights: (3/7 vs. Pitt-Greensburg @ Russ Matt Invitational): Fanned four and walked one without allowing a hit in 2.0 innings to close the game. (3/10 vs. Coe College @ Russ Matt Invitational): Made his first career start and allowed just one run and two hits in 3.0 innings, with four walks and one strikeout.

2010 Highlights:  (4/2 vs. Ramapo):  In relief, allowed just one hit and one walk in 1.2 innings of work...
 
High School: A May 2009 graduate of Hudson Catholic High School in Jersey City, NJ…Graduated with honors (3.2 GPA)…Played three years of varsity baseball for Coach Danny Suarez and was a high school teammate of NJCU third baseman Brian Bustillo…Kelly earned First-Team Coviello Division and Second-Team All-Hudson County and Honorable Mention All-State honors for the Hawks during his career…The Hawks qualified for the county tournament all three years he was on varsity (2007, 2008, 2009) and the state tournament his sophomore and junior seasons—2007 and 2008. He pitched against Memorial High School in the 2009 county playoffs…HC won the 2007 county and conference championship…Also played AAU baseball for the Jersey City RBI team, coached by Mike Hogan, and won a regional championship.
