2013 Highlights: (2/15 @ Southern Virginia): Started and pitched 7.0 innings, allowing eight earned runs and 13 hits with three strikeouts and one walk. (2/24 @ Centenary (NJ) - Game 1): Threw 8.0 innings of shutout baseball, scattering seven singles with seven strikeouts and two walks over 127 pitches. (3/2 vs. Eastern Connecticut State): Allowed five earned runs (six total) against seven hits with two strikeouts and three walks. (3/9 vs. Penn State-Abington @ Russ Matt Spring Break Invitational): Shut down PSU-Abington with six strikeouts without issuing a walk and scattered just seven singles. (3/21 vs. Old Westbury): Improved to 2-1 while making his fifth start in 11 games this season. In 7.0 innings, he allowed two earned runs (three total) and six hits with three strikeouts while walking six over 130 pitches. (3/30 @ TCNJ): Suffered the loss in game one (2-2), allowing eight runs and 10 hits with six walks, striking out two over 113 pitches in six innings. (4/4 vs. Rutgers-Camden): Became the winningest pitcher in program history as he fired his 10th career complete game, allowing two earned runs and seven hits including six singles and struck out three against three walks over 127 pitches in nine innings. (4/13 vs. #1 Kean): Extended his own school record for career victories to 14 with the win (14-14) and improved to 4-2 on the season. Over 130 pitches, he allowed 10 hits, including eight singles but just one run, striking out two and walking one to stun the top-ranked Cougars by winning the opening game. (4/16 @ Baruch): Suffered the loss, allowing two runs and two hits with one walk without recording an out. (4/18 vs. Rowan): Suffered the loss and allowed seven runs and 10 hits with four strikeouts (two walks) over 93 pitches. (4/23 @ Mount Saint Vincent): Came on in relief and threw the final 3.2 innings, allowing one run and four hits with four strikeouts and three walks over 74 pitches to improve to 5-4 on the season. (5/2 @ Stevens): In 8.0 innings, he allowed one earned run, striking outu seven versus three walks over 121 pitches, falling to 5-6 on the year. 

2012 Highlights: (3/7 vs. Centenary): Took the loss, allowing two earned runs (six total) on seven hits with two strikeouts and three walks in 2.2 innings. (3/12 vs. Rhode Island College @ Russ Matt Invitational): Tossed seven solid innings for his first win of the season. Allowed just one unearned run and seven hits (all singles) with one strikeout and two walks over 109 pitches. (3/16 vs. Framingham State @ Russ Matt Invitational): Retired the final two batters in a brief eight-pitch appearance in game one. (3/17 vs. Sewanee @ Russ Matt Invitational): Won his second game in his fourth appearance of the week, tossing an efficient 94-pitch complete game victory, striking out three, walking one and evenly distributing 10 fly outs and 10 ground outs. He allowed seven hits and four runs. (3/24 vs. #27 St. Joseph's - Maine): Struck out four and walked none in 8.0 innings in game one. (3/29 @ Drew): Had a strikeout against one hit in a 14-pitch ninth inning stint. (4/1 vs. Rutgers-Newark): Tossed his second complete game of the season over 99 pitches in 8.0 innings. He allowed four runs- all in the first inning of game two- before holding Rutgers-Newark off the board for the rest of the contest, allowing seven hits with two strikeouts and no walks. (4/3 @ King's): Came in as relief in the bottom of the ninth inning, with the bases loaded and claimed his second career save. (4/5 vs. William Paterson): Made his 10th appearance (fifth in relief) and struck out one batter against one single in the ninth inning. (4/7 vs. Rutgers-Camden): Tossed his first career complete-game shutout in game one. Scattered 10 hits (nine singles) in a 130-pitch, complete-game shutout effort, striking out two and walking two. (4/10 @ FDU-Florham): Entered the game with the bases loaded with no outs in the bottom of the ninth inning and coerced three outs- an infield pop out, earning his third save of the season. (4/14 @ Ramapo): Lasted 7.0 innings in game one, striking out seven versus two walks but took the loss (3-4), allowing eight runs and 12 hits. (4/19 vs. TCNJ): Scattered just one hit with one strikeout and one walk in the final 1.2 innings of relief. (4/21 vs. Rowan): Received a no decision in game one after allowing three earned run (seven total) and 10 hits against two strikeouts and three walks in 7.1 innings. (4/27 @ Montclair): Suffered the loss. In 7.0 innings, he allowed four earned runs (five total) and nine hits with four strikeouts and five walks over 128 pitches. (4/28 @ Richard Stockton): Pitched relief in game one and in game two he earned his 10th career victory by throwing 2.1 innings of no-hit baseball to close the game, with one strikeout while facing eight batters. 

2011 Highlights: (3/6 vs. Penn State-Altoona @ Russ Matt Invitational): In Game 1 he fired seven strikeouts and no walks, now 5-0 in his career....Wrapped up the win with a 1-2-3 seventh inning that included a pair of strikeouts.  (3/27 vs. St. Joseph's College-Maine): In defeat, he was extremely accurate and efficient, striking out four without allowing a walk, while being charged with three runs and 11 hits over 109 pitches. Overall, 47 of his first 60 pitches and 81 of 109 were strikes. (4/14 @ Kean University): In defeat, allowed just one run and four hits with five strikeouts and no walks in a complete-game, 107-pitch effort against #3 ranked Kean. (4/29 @ Montclair State University): Hurled a complete-game three-hitter, taking the win. 


2010 Highlights:  (3/21 vs. St. Joseph's College- Brooklyn):  Improved to 2-0 on the mound...In 4.0 innings, he allowed two runs and six hits, walked two and fanned one...(4/15 at Rutgers-Newark):  In relief, had a strikeout and just one hit against in one inning...(4/17 vs. Rutgers-Camden):  Had a solid two innings of relief...He allowed three hits, facing eight batters, but prevented the visitors from scoring with an inning-ending double play with the bases loaded...(4/21 at Drew University):  Making his third career start, earned the win to up his overall record to 4-0...In 6.0 innings, he did not allow an earned run and scattered five hits—including four singles, with three strikeouts and no walks over a tidy 50 pitches...(4/29 at Ramapo):  Struck out three and allowed just two runs and three hits with one walk in 4.0 innings of relief...

High School:  A June 2009 graduate of County Prep High School in Jersey City, NJ…Played four seasons of varsity baseball for Coach Michael Zodroga, Jr…A three-time All-Hudson County and All-Seglio Division standout for the Hurricanes, he was named Second-Team All-County as a junior and senior in 2008 and 2009 and Third-Team All-County in 2007…He was First-Team All-Seglio Division in 2008 and 2009…Rodriguez led County Prep to the 2009 North II Group I NJSIAA state sectional championship, advancing to the Group I tournament before losing to Park Ridge in the state semifinals…The Hurricanes also played in the county tournament…He also played baseball for the R.B.I. Jersey City program.
