  • Before NJCU: Attended Caldwell College in 2009-10 and played in two games for the 15-12 Division II Cougars…Attempted one three-pointer. Played one game during the Fall 2010 semester for a team that was 6-3 before transferring to NJCU f or the Spring 2011 semester… tallied three assists and one rebound in eight minutes…She was also a member of the Cougars’ cross country team.

    High School:  A June 2009 honors graduate of St. Joseph’s of the Palisades High School in West New York, NJ…A four-year, three-sport varsity athlete in basketball for Coach Carlos Quinteros, volleyball for Coach Damian Kennedy and softball for Coach Liz Torres…A 1,000-point career scorer for the Blue Jays, she finished her prep career with 1,036 points. She earned First-Team All-Hudson County and All-Area honors in the Seglio Division by the Jersey Journal after averaging 20 points per game as a senior in 2008-09. Also played AAU basketball for the NY Gazelles…Rivera also earned First-Team All-County in volleyball…She was a team captain in all three sports…She had a 3.2 GPA in high school and earned induction into the National Honor Society. She also served as Vice President of Student Council.

    2012-13 Season Highlights: (11/17 vs. SUNY Oneonta @ Cheryl Warren-Powers '95 Memorial Tournament): Scored a game and career-high 20 points in 32 minutes of action. (11/18 vs. Lesley @ Cheryl Warren-Powers '95 Memorial Tournament): Provided seven points and four assists. (11/20 vs. Ramapo): Added 11 points (4-15 FG). (11/28 @ Rutgers-Newark): Added nine points (4-10 FG) and four assists. ?(12/1 vs. Rowan): Collected five points and four assists. ?(12/8 vs. Kean): Scored a team-high 14 points, including six in overtime. She also had nine rebounds and five assists. (12/12 @ Montclair): Scored in double figures for the fourth time this season; scoring 10 of her team-best 12 points in the second half.  (1/21 @ New Rochelle): Tacked on seven points. (1/23 vs. Rutgers-Newark): Came off the bench to add 10 rebounds (seven offensive), seven points and two steals. (2/13 vs. Rutgers-Camden): Collected eight points and six rebounds (four defensive).

    2011-12 Season Highlights: (11/18/2011 @ Cherry Cove Seahawk Tournament @ St. Mary's (MD)): Collected 11 points (4-7 FG), converting a pair of three-point shots, with three assists before fouling out in 20 minutes. (12/5 vs. John Jay): Provided 10 points. (12/7 vs. New Rochelle): Contributed eight points (4-9 FG) and four assists. (1/4 @ Ramapo): Achieved career highs in assists (6) and steals (6) and played a full 40 minutes for the second time this season. (1/9 @ Arcadia): Recorded a career-high 17 points (7-16 FG) along with five steals and three assists in 39 minutes of play. (1/14 @ Richard Stockton): Finished with 10 points (4-10 FG) and five assists. (1/21 vs. TCNJ): Finished with eight points, four rebounds and two steals in 38 minutes of play. (1/23 vs. Brooklyn): Recorded her first career double-double, leading NJCU with 11 points, a season-high 10 rebounds (seven defensive) and three steals in 39 minutes of play. (1/25 @ Rutgers-Newark): Finished with a team-high of 12 points and seven rebounds, shooting 6-of-10 in 36 minutes. (1/28 @ Kean): Scored in double-figures for the third straight game, finishing with a career high of 18 points (9-17 FG) in 37 minutes. (1/30 vs. Lehman): Had nine points. (2/1 vs. Ramapo): Had nine points and three assists. (2/4 vs. Berkeley): Supplied six points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals. (2/15 vs. Rutgers-Newark): Grabbed six rebounds.

    2010-2011 Season Highlights: (1/13/2011 vs William Paterson): Played 39 minutes in her second game since transferring to NJCU, finishing with 11 points and for assists. (1/15/2011 @ Stockton): Recorded a career- high 13 points (6-15 FG) and now has 29 points in three games since her transfer. (1/17/2011 @ NY City College of Technology): Reached double digits for the third time in four games, as she made 5 of 10 shots and finished with 10 points and five rebounds. (1/24/2011 vs York College): Netted a career- high 16 points. (1/29/2011 vs Rutgers University-Camden): Collected 11 points and seven rebounds in a full 40 minutes of action. (2/7/2011 vs Berkeley College): Added 11 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals. (2/12/2011 vs. Ramapo College): Scored ten points (5-13 FG). (2/14/2011 vs. Montclair State University): Tallied twelve points, including 2-of-3 three-point shooting, and two steals.
