High School: A June 2001 graduate of Sayreville War Memorial High School in Sayreville, NJ…Began his high school career at Saint Peter’s High School in New Brunswick…Played four years of varsity baseball for Michael Novak at Sayreville and Greg Nemes at Saint Peter’s…A four-year varsity basketball player at each school, playing for Gus Jaworski at Sayreville, and Bob Greene at Saint Peter’s…Participated in the Greater Middlesex Conference playoffs in baseball and basketball…A member of the Sayreville basketball team that won a GMC championship…Averaged 11 points, five rebounds, and four assists for the Bombers…Earned Honorable Mention All-GMC distinction in basketball at Sayreville, and First-Team All-Freshman and Honorable Mention notice at Saint Peter’s…As a junior for the Bombers in 2000, scored the winning basket with a putback with 39 seconds remaining as SWMHS stunned East Brunswick, 56-54, in the semifinals of the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament…Team finished the year 20-7…The guard averaged eight points and four caroms per game as a junior.
