2023: Attended NJCU but was not a member of the softball team.
2022: Appeared in 31 games as a junior, making 28 starts, primarily at second base … finished third on the team in walks (8) … went 3-for-6 in the doubleheader sweep at Brooklyn (3/23), scoring twice, knocking in one run and walking once … had a six-game hitting streak from 3/23 to 4/2 … went 1-for-2 with two RBI, two walks and a run in the win over John Jay (3/29) … went 1-for-2 with two RBI in the monumental NJAC win over Rutgers-Camden (4/2).
2021: Played and started in 18 of 19 games as a sophomore, mostly at second base … went 1-for-2 with a double and a run vs. Rutgers-Camden (4/3) … was 1-for-3 against Rowan (4/10) … also went 1-for-2 at Montclair State (4/20) and vs. Ramapo (4/27) … was 1-for-1 with two RBI, a walk and a sacrifice against Stockton (5/1).
2020: Appeared in all seven games, making five starts before the season was canceled due to COVID … led the team with eight RBI … went 1-for-2 with a RBI vs. Shenandoah (3/9) … went 3-for-7 with four RBI, a double, two runs and a steal in the doubleheader vs. Holy Family (3/11) … was 2-for-6 with three RBI in the doubleheader sweep of Holy Family and Cazenovia (3/12).
High School: A 2019 graduate of Secaucus High School … four-year varsity softball team member … captain as a senior … two-time first team all-conference and one-time second team selection.
Personal: Daughter of Zenaida Tejada and Irving Mojica … mother, Zenaida, graduated from NJCU in 2009 … has two siblings, Irving and Stepany … minoring in sociology … is a ball girl for the New York Yankees ... works with Kid Grit ... plans to join the National Guard ... pursuing a career with the Port Authority and as a softball coach ... enjoys listening to 90s music.
