2021: Appeared in just 17 games due to injury, making 16 starts behind the plate as a junior … finished second on the team in putouts (89) … recorded his first RBI at NJCU with a sac fly at Stockton (4/3) … went on an eight-game hitting streak from 4/10-29 … went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a run scored, a walk and was 2-for-2 on the base pads at Ramapo (4/22) … also went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, was hit by a pitch and was 2-for-2 against the Roadrunner (4/23) the next day … was 2-for-3 with a walk in game one and 2-for-3 with two runs, two walks a a stolen base in game two at Montclair State (4/24) … was also 2-for-4 at Kean (4/29) … went 3-for-6 with two runs, three RBI, two walks, a stolen base and a walk-off home run in the doubleheader split at home against Rutgers-Newark (5/1).

2019-20: Attended Division II Wilmington University ... played two seasons for the Wildcats ... appeared in seven games as a sophomore before the season was cut short ... appeared in 21 games as a freshman, batting .429 with three RBI.

High School: A 2018 graduate of Gloucester County Institute of Technology ... four-year varsity baseball team member ... team captain as a senior ... first team all-conference as a senior.

Personal: Son of Heather and James Leslie Jr. ... has three brothers, James III, Steven and Joseph ... pursuing a career as a state trooper.
