    2007 Highlights: (09/05 vs. John Jay College): Finished with a game-high five points, scoring the fifth goal of the game on a free kick from 40 yards out, and assisted on the second, third, and sixth goals. He now has seven points overall and moved into ninth place in school history with 14 career assists—two behind his brother... (09/08 vs. College of Staten Island): Added two more tallies, his fourth goal of the year he is now at 10 points... (09/09 vs. North Carolina Wesleyan College): Had two goals in Saturday’s game and 10 points in the first four games of the year, was ejected, and the Knights were forced to play the final 40 minutes without arguably their top all-around player this season... (09/16 vs. St. Joseph's College): Bagged an assist to teammate at 29:55 making the score 2-0... (09/22 at Rowan University): Assisted a goal at 64.40 to Acuna which was the eventual game winner... (09/26 vs. Kean University): Opened a 1-0 lead at 21:19 when he dished a thru ball across the top of the box from the right wing for a goal...  (10/01 vs. Keyston College): Tied the team lead with his seventh assist... (10/29): Named New Jersey City University Men's Athlete of the Week... (10/31 vs. Ramapo College; NJAC Semi-finals): Scored twice in a span of 4:10 in the first half, first he put NJCU in front at 19:57 of the first half with his ninth goal of the year, then at at 24:07 with a penalty kick in which he is 5-for-5 in penalty kicks in his career, including two in regulation, and 3-for-3 this season. The goal was his 10th of the season as he moved into ninth place in school history in points with 56 (18 goals, 20 assists)... (11/03): Week 10; Named New Jersey Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career, after scoring two goals for four points during the 2007 NJAC Tournament last week. He currently ranks tied for second inthe NJAC in assists (9), third in points (29), tied for third in game-winning goals (4), fifth in assists per game (0.45), tied for sixth in point per game (1.45), tied for seventh in goals (10), 10th in goals per game (0.50), and tied for 10th in shots (47)... (11/06): Earned First-Team All-NJAC. The Co-captain had nine goals and eight assists for 26 points, with 53 shots (29 on goal) and three game-winners in 1,202 minutes over 17 games (15 starts)... (11/08): Has been a standout on the soccer pitch and in the classroom, and for his efforts, the scholar-athlete has been voted to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-America District II College Division Second-Team in the sport of men's soccer. Nominees must be a starter or important
    reserve who has reached sophomore athletic and academic standing with at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average. Bilbao earned the academic honor after accumulating a 3.60 grade pointaverage while studying Business Administration. For 2006-2007 he earned First-Team Academic All-NJAC selection, he also received the Gothic Knight Academic Achievement Award in May 2007, presented annually to the NJCU men's and women's student-athlete with the highest overall GPA after reaching sophomore level status... (11/10 vs Castleton State College (VT) at NJIT; NCAA First Round): Collected the rebound from 10 yards out on the right side and uncorked a shot into the left side of the net at 59:59 for his 12th goal of the year and 60th career point, now seventh in school history. Bilbao made a spin move to elude a defender and pinpointed a beautiful header inside the left post at 29:59. His 10th career game-winner broke a tie for the all-time lead with former standout Marc Palumbo (1999-02) ...     2006 Highlights:  (09/23 vs. Rowan University):  Opened a 2-on-0 breakaway which led to NJCU being awarded with a penalty kick to win the game...(10/09 vs. Farmingdale State University): Netted his first points of the season, when his free kick curved over the wall and found nylon at 11:27...(10/28 vs. Rowan University):  Rifled a shot on the near right wing, which was saved by Rowan, but the rebound went straight to Jamel Carson on the left side of the box, where he buried the carom inside the left post. It was Bilbao’s first assist as NJCu defeat Rowan 2-0...(10/31 vs. Rutgers-Camden University):  Hit his penalty kick into the right side of the net giving the Knights a 3-1 lead on penalty kicks over Rutgers for the win...
