2022: One of just two players to play and start all 39 games … spent his time primarily in centerfield … led team in batting (.418), OPS (1.256), runs scored (46), hits (61), doubles (14), home runs (tied single-season record, 9), RBI (45), total bases (108), slugging (.740), on-base percentage (.516), tied for the team lead in triples (3), sacrifice flies (3), walks (24), hit by pitches (9), was second in stolen bases (9) … had 21 multi-hit games and 13 multi-RBI performances … started the season on an 18-game on-base streak from 2/23 (@ Cairn) to 4/2 (@ TCNJ) … carried over final two games from 2021 for a total 20-game on-base streak … was a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, two doubles, a home run, a walk and a stolen base in the win at Manhattanville (3/19) … had a career-day in the win over St. Elizabeth (3/31), going 3-for-5 with four runs, five RBI, a double, a hit-by-pitch and two home runs … reached the 100-career hit plateau, going 1-for-3 with a double, a run and a hit-by-pitch at New Paltz (4/5), also kicking off a 14-game on-base streak, which ran to 4/23 (vs. Ramapo) … went 5-for-9 with three runs, four RBI, a home run, a walk and a stolen base in the doubleheader vs. Stockton (4/9) … ended the season 6-for-9 with four runs, two doubles, a RBI, a walk and two stolen bases in the doubleheader at William Paterson (4/30).
2021: Was one of just two players to play and start in all 30 games of the abbreviated season, making his starts primarily at first base, with some time in right field, as well … led the team in runs (19), doubles (9), home runs (4), stolen bases (14), total bases (55) and slugging (.625) … was second in hits (32), RBI (14), batting (.286), walks (17) and OBP (.407) … went 3-for-4 with a double and stolen base at Kean (3/12) … was 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, a walk, a RBI and was hit by a pitch in the win at Centenary (3/13) … went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, was hit by a pitch and scored one in the win over Rutgers-Camden (3/19) … registered a 3-for-10 performance at the play in two games at Montclair State (3/25-26), totaling three RBI, three runs and a home run each day … was 2-for-4 with two doubles against William Paterson (3/27) … was 2-for-5 with two runs, a RBI, a double, five walks, three stolen bases and was hit by a pitch in the doubleheader split at Stockton (4/3) … notched a 2-for-3 performance in game two of a DH against Rutgers-Camden (4/10), adding two runs, a RBI, a double, a homer, two walks and a stolen base … in game two of a DH at William Paterson (4/16), Voss was 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, a double, a home run and a walk … was 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, one double, one stolen base and was hit by a pitch at Ramapo (4/22) … drew four walks and stole two bases vs. the Roadrunners the following day (4/23).
2020: Played and started in nine of 10 games at first base as a sophomore before the season was cut short due to COVID-19 … led the team in batting (.306), OPS (.875), hits (11), home runs (2), RBI (7), total bases (18) and slugging (.500) … was 2-for-3 with three RBI, a home run, a walk, stole a base and scored a run at McDaniel (2/23) … notched a 2-for-4 day at Swarthmore (2/29), finishing with a walk, a run and a RBI … went 3-for-5 with three RBI, three runs, a double, a home run, a walk and stole a base vs. Howard Payne (3/9) … was 2-for-5 with a run in game two at Trinity-Texas (3/10).
2019: Played in 36 of 37 games as a rookie, making 35 starts primarily at first base … tied for first on the team in home runs (2) and tied for second in triples (2) … was third in RBI (20) and tied for third in walks (17) … went 2-for-4 in his collegiate debut, adding a walk, a RBI and a run vs. Illinois Wesleyan (3/9) … was 3-for-5 with four runs, two RBI a triple and a walk in the win at CSI (3/24) … crushed his first-career homer, a two-run shot, in the win over Old Westbury (3/28) … recorded another two-run blast, adding a walk and two runs in the win over Stockton (3/30) … was 2-for-3 with a double, two stolen bases and was hit by a pitch vs. Rutgers-Camden (4/6) … went 1-for-2 with a run, a triple, two walks and stole a base in the win over FDU-Florham (4/9) … finished 1-for-2 with a run, a RBI, a double and a walk in the win over Montclair State (4/23) … was 2-for-3 with three RBI and was hit by a pitch in the win at Cairn (4/24).
High School: A 2018 graduate of Monmouth Regional High School … four-year baseball team member, including three years on varsity … captain as a senior … first team all-conference at 1B as a senior … also a four-year varsity wrestling team member … two-year captain as a junior and senior … went 33-6 as a senior at 220 pounds and had 78 career wins … third-place finisher at districts as a senior … was also a four-year football team member, including three seasons on varsity … captain as a senior … all-division as a senior.
Personal: Son of Valerie and Ricky Voss … graduated from NJCU in 2022 with an undergraduate B.S. in Finance ... currently pursuing his M.B.A. at NJCU, with the goal of a career in business.
