2006 Men’s Soccer: Played in 17 games with 16 starts as a defender for a Gothic Knight team which finished 17-6-2, was ranked as high as No. 9 in the nation, and reached the championship game of the NJAC and ECAC Metro Tournaments…Played in 1,326 minutes, seventh most on the team…Tallied one shot (one on goal)…A mainstay on a defensive unit which allowed only 23 goals in 25 games and a 0.90 goals against average.
2006 Baseball: Finished the year hitting .200 (21-105) with 17 runs and 11 RBIs in 36 games (30 starts)…Had three doubles and one homeruns, swiping 9-of-10 bases…Had four walks, two hit by pitches and 17 strikeouts…Was batting .271 at the start of the month before enduring an 8-for-57 drought…Had a solid year as a relief pitcher, going 3-1 with a 5.61 ERA in seven appearances, including one start…In 25.2 innings, he allowed only 16 earned runs (18 total) and 31 hits, with 13 strikeouts and 12 walks…As a hitter, he reached base on an error nine times, the highest single-season total since records began be tracked in 2000…He ranked third on the team in steals, tied for fifth in runs, seventh in at-bats, and eighth in hits…Had a .938 hitting percentage with three errors in 48 chances…Had 41 putouts and four assists…Posted a .481 average with two outs (13-27) and hit .308 against lefties (4-13)…He was 5-for-9 (.556) with a runner on third and less than two outs, and had a 40.7 success rate in advancing runners (24-59)…Batted in every slot in the order except leadoff and third, including 11 games in the ninth position.
2005 Men’s Soccer: A starting defender for NJCU soccer program which finished the season ranked No. 11 in Division III while advancing to the Sweet 16 in the school’s first-ever NCAA appearance while going 17-7-1…Played 19 games (18 starts), mostly at right fullback…Logged 1416 minutes of action, and contributed three assists and three points…While NJCU set a single-season school record with 91 goals, and ranked second in the nation offensively, he helped the Knights become a force defensively, posting 11 shutout, while outscoring its opponents by a 3.25:1 ratio.
2005 Baseball: Produced one of the most prolific offensive seasons in NJCU history…Selected First-Team Association of Division III Independents as an outfielder, First-Team All-CUNYAC…Named the Division III Independents Men’s Student-Athlete of the Month for April 2005 for all sports…Ranked sixth in Division III with a .467 batting average, the third highest single-season mark in program history…A two-time CUNYAC Rookie of the Week on April 11 and April 18…A three-time New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association (NJCBA) Division II/III Rookie Player of the Week on April 11, April 18, and May 9…Selected National Collegiate Baseball Writers’ Association (NCBWA) Division III Honorable Mention National Hitter of the Week on April 21…Became only second player in school history to be honored with a national weekly award…Was hitting as high as .493 on May 1, before finishing the year at a sizzling .467 (42-90)…Was the Gothic Knights’ leading hitter…Tallied 55 total bases, 26 runs, 23 RBIs, 10 steals (10-11) and 10 extra base hits (seven doubles, three triples)…Had a .611 slugging percentage and .495 on-base rate…Despite missing four games and not being in the starting lineup when the year began, became perhaps NJCU’s best offensive player once he became a regular early in the first week of the year…Finished third on NJCU in hits, tied for third in doubles (7) and triples (3), third in steals, fourth in total bases, and sixth in RBIs, although he was only eighth in at bats….Collected 13 multiple hit games, including seven with at least three hits…Tallied eight multiple-RBI games…Posted a 10-game hitting streak during the season…Owned a .938 fielding percentage with three errors in 48 chances…Hit at a .552 rate (27-49) with runners on, .500 with runners in scoring position (20-40)…Had a .642 success rate in advancing runners (34-53)…Batted .833 (10-12) with a runner on third and less than two outs…Hit .778 in the two-game CUNYAC Tournament as NJCU finished as runners-up…Earned his first collegiate win on March 8 against Swarthmore, tossing 3.1 innings of two-hit ball, with three strikeouts and two walks…On the mound, was 1-0 with five strikeouts and five walks in 7.0 innings, allowing eight earned runs and 11 hits in relief.
