2006: Played in 18 games with 15 starts as a reserve catcher and designated hitter…Batted .191 (9-47) with eight runs, two RBIs and two doubles…13 strikeouts and four walks…Sure-handed behind the plate, he had a .962 fielding percentage—third best on the team and tops among catchers…Only had three errors in 78 chances, with eight assists…Batted .333 (3-9) with two outs…Had a 33.3 success rate in advancing runners (9-27)…(03/18 vs. United States Merchant Marines Academy): Hit an RBI double against USMMA aiding the 5-2 win.
2005: In 11 games (four starts), batted .235 (4-for-17) with nine runs, four RBIs and five walks…Successful in his only steal attempt…Struck out five times…One hit by pitch and one sacrifice fly…Had a .941 fielding percentage, with one error in 16 chances…Had three assists…Was 3-for-6 as a leadoff batter, and hit .750 (3-4) with a runner on third and less than two outs…Twice scored three runs in a game during the season, against Lincoln University (March 19) and D’Youville College (April 10).
High School: A June 18, 2004 graduate of Harrison High School with a 3.47 GPA…Played four years of baseball for the Blue Tide, all on the varsity level for coaches Michael Landy and Paul Oecker…Selected First-Team All-Bergen County Scholastic League National and Second-Team All-Essex County at utility as a senior in 2004…Named Honorable Mention All-County and All-BCSL National as a sophomore in 2002…Played in the 2002 state tournament against Westwood and Lodi…Competed again in the states in 2004, facing West Essex on May 21, and Parsippany on May 25…Belted four homeruns as a senior
