2007 Highlights: 09/01 vs. St. Lawrence University): Had six shots, and all three of the Knights' shots on goal... (09/02 at Clarkson University): Registered a natural hat trick in the first half as he scored the first goal for the Knights at 11:53 and at 26:20 he scored the eventual game-winner when he drilled a shot into the upper corner from six yards out... (09/03): Named New Jersey City University Male Athlete of the Week... (09/05 vs. John Jay College): Notched his fourth goal of the year, for a team-high eight points and a 4-0 lead...  (09/09 vs. North Carolina Wesleyan College): Bagged his team-best fifth goal of the year on a header in the box on a free kick from the left sideline...  (09/22 at Rowan University): At 64.40 he buried a shot on a tough angle inside the left post from 15 yards out from Acuna. It was his sixth goal of the season... (09/26 vs. Kean University): Scored seventh goal of the season and 20th of his three-year NJCU career... (09/29 at Richard Stockton College): Contributed the assist the sole goal scored, which tallies his second of the season...  (10/01 vs. Keyston College): Scored his eighth goal of the year at 42:19.  He has now scored for the third time in four games and chalked up a point in his fourth straight outing, giving the knights a 3-0 lead... (10/13 vs. Montclair State University): Had two crucial assists the two second half goals, the first goal gave NJCU the cushion it needed against one of the top defensive teams in the nation at 65:38. For second goal assisted to teammate in which he used a similar spin move to create separation in the left side of the box, then fired in a shot from 15 yards into the right side of the net. It was his seventh goal and Carpio’s third assist of the year, he has moved himself into a tie for ninth all-time with 53 points... (10/20 vs. The College of New Jersey): Capped the scoring at 81:26 when he stole an errant pass from the TCNJ defense to open a breakaway on the left wing. There, he buried an unassisted 12-yard shot for his 10th goal of the season, to match his single-season career high set in 2005. He moved into a tie for 6th place in school history in goals (23) and eighth place in points (55)... (10/23): Commented on NJCU earning the highest national ranking in history in men's soccer now in the number eight spot overall in the national soccer coaches association poll, "It was good to be ranked low earlier this season because there was no pressure. We could just play and show we were better than sixth [in the NJAC poll]. It is harder now that we’re on top, because now everybody will be gunning for us and we’re going to have to work hard so we can stay on top.”... (11/06): Named Honorable Mention All-NJAC, finishing in a tie for the lead in goals (11) while adding four assists and 26 total points—tied for third on the club.
