2008 Highlights: (03/10 vs. Wooster College at Gene Cusic Classic): Struck out four to earn her first career victory, and was 2-for-4 with one run at the plate. She allowed only two earned runs and seven hits, with four strikeouts and two walks. She was one of four NJCU batters with multiple hits and is now 1-0 on the season... (03/11 vs. Salem State College): Finsihed 2-for-4 with an RBI... (03/11 vs. Skidmore College): Improved to 2-0, allowing only four hits, fanning two without a walk to claim the complete-game shutout victory. Skidmore only threatened in the third inning, when runners were stranded on second and third... (03/12 vs. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute): The only Gothic Knight with multiple hits, going 2-for-3 with a triple, one run and one RBI... (03/12 vs. Alfred University): Took a no-decision while batting 2-for-4 with one RBI and a double. On the mound, she allowed four runs and nine hits, fanning three without a walk in 4.1 innings of work... (03/13 vs. Olivet College): Improved to 3-0, allowing only eight hits and three earned runs, with two walks and two strikeouts... (03/19 @ John Jay): Remained undefeated on the mound in her collegiate career. She improved to 4-0 in five starts, allowing just two earned runs and five hits, while walking five and fanning three in 5.0 innings... Game two she pitched 0.2 innings before being relieved, but was charged with her second loss (4-2). She allowed three runs and three hits, walking two... (04/03 vs. Baruch College): Went back-to-back with Matsutani in the sixth inning, collected only the fifth multi-homer game in school history, tying the single-game mark of two. She finished game one 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs... (04/05 vs. Rowan): Registered an RBI groundout in the sixth, as she took the game two loss for the Knights (5-4)... (04/08 vs William Paterson): 1-for-3 with a two-run double, she started the game at firstbase then pitched the final 4.0 innings, allowing no earned runs and eight hits, with one strikeout and three walks... (04/12 vs. Rutgers-Newark): Fired a complete-game three-hit shutout in game two, she improved to 7-4 with the win, tossed her second complete-game shutout of the year. It was the fourth time this year she has pitched at least two innings in a game without allowing an earned run. She struck out five and walked none. She retired the first 12 batters of the game before Labate led off the fifth with a single... (04/14): Has been selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for week seven of the 2008 season... (04/16 vs. FDU-Florham): Went 5-for-10 with five RBIs in the double header. Game one she went 2-for-6 with three ribbies including an RBI single to cut the deficit to 11-10. Game two she was on the mound and earned the win, she fanned five and walked just two for the win (8-6), she aided her cause by batting 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBIs and two doubles... (04/21 at The College of New Jersey): Solid in relief over 1.1 innings, allowing just three hits and one run, but that lone run in the bottom of the seventh was the only one to cross the plate in the opener...(04/22 vs. Ramapo College): In 6.0 innings, she allowed only two earned runs and eight hits, with two strikeouts and two walks, but fell to 8-9. She was the offensive star of the game at the plate, going 3-for-4...(04/24 at St. Joseph's College): Entered in relief with the tying run on deck and no outs. She coaxed a harmless RBI groundout then picked up a huge K for the second out before forcing a groundout to seal the win... (04/25 at College of Staten Island): Took the loss (8-11) for NJCU, allowing seven earned runs, with four walks and three strikeouts... (04/26 vs. Richard Stockton College): The winning pitcher in both games of the doubleheader, also was the biggest offensive star, combining to go 5-for-5 with six RBIs, five runs, three walks and two homers while improving to 10-11 on the mound. In 10 innings in two games, she allowed only four hits.In game one she was ensational on the mound and at the plate. She batted 4-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs while limiting the Ospreys to three hits in seven innings as she struck out five and walked two. In game two, she came in at pitcher, and was untouchable. She retired the side in order in the fifth and sixth inning. In the top of the seventh, Skowronski walked and with two outs, scored on Perrucci’s winning single. Skowronski then shut the door on Stockton in the seventh, allowing only a two-out single...(04/30): Selected Second-Team All-NJAC as a first baseman in voting by the league’s 10 head coaches. Skowronski, who hit NJCU’s only homerun in 2007 as a freshman, had a breakout sophomore campaign as a true utility player. A first baseman, right-handed pitcher and designated player, she made the All-NJAC team at first base. She was selected as the NJAC Pitcher of the Week on April 14.  In 40 games (40 starts) she hit .341 (44-129) with 27 RBIs, 26 runs, 11 doubles, two triples and five homers, compiling 74 total bases and 17 walks, while going 6-for-6 in steals. In 190 defensive chances, she had a .974 fielding percentage and only five errors. She added a .574 slugging and .422 on-base percentage and had 14 multiple hit and seven multi-RBI games. She was even more valuable on the mound, where she was the winning pitcher in both games of NJCU’s first-ever sweep of Richard Stockton College on April 26 and its first win over William Paterson University since 1989, while keeping the Knights close against most NJAC opponents. For the year, she was 10-11 with a 3.58 ERA, two shutouts and one save. In 25 appearances (18 starts) over 131.0 innings, she allowed only 67 earned runs with 64 strikeouts. Among NJCU hitters she led the club in doubles, tied for the lead in homers, was second in RBIs, at bats, total bases, slugging, on-base percentage, and was third in runs, triples, walks, putouts (133) and assists (52). Among NJAC overall leaders, she is tied for second in homers, tied for fifth in doubles, sixth in total bases, eighth in at bats, ninth in RBIs and slugging, 10th in total plate appearances (147), and 11th in hits. As a pitcher, she was fourth in innings, tied for ninth in wins, and 10th in strikeouts. During NJAC games, she was tied for fifth in homers (2) and innings pitched (60.0), fifth in walks (9), seventh in two-out RBIs (6), tied for seventh in doubles (5) and wins (4), and 10th in batters K’d (24).
2007 Highlights: (03/31 vs. Rutgers University-Camden): 2-for-2 in game two...(04/05 vs. Baruch College): Sored twice and collected RBIs for the Knights in game two. She scored the eventual game-winning run, and she crossed with NJCU’s third run on an RBI single... (04/06 vs. John Jay College): Drove in two RBIs and scored twice in a 1-for-3 showing. Perrucci also had a triple in the second game, finishing 1-for-3... (04/19 vs. Montclair State University): Pitched four innings of relief in game one...(04/24 at Ramapo College): Had single hits for NJCU... (04/26 vs. College of Staten Island):  Hit a walk-off, three-run homerun with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to win the game 8-7. She finished 2-for-4 with four RBIs and one run...
