2008 Highlights: (08/29 at RPI): Dished an assist on a thru ball to Cristhian Acuna for NJCU's second goal in the match...(08/30 vs. Union College NY in Red Hawk Classic): Scored his first goal on the season and NJCU's only goal of the game...(09/07 vs. College of Mount Saint Vincent in TCNJ Soccer Classic): Scored the eventual game-winning goal just 5:53 into the game for his second tally of the year and provided an assist just 1:14 later on the second goal scored by junior Mickael Pereira, for a three-point afternoon...Now with 22 goals and 27 assists in his career, has 71 overall points...(09/20 vs. Richard Stockton College): Opened the scoring with his third goal of the year and 23rd of his career...(10/1 at Ramapo College): Assisted Cristhian Acuna's game-tying goal...His third assist of the year, giving him 28 for his career, moving him into a tie for fifth place in school history...(10/13 vs. Brooklyn College): Recorded his third assist of the year and 29th of his career on his corner kick which found his brother Jonathan Bilbao on the left post for a goal...(11/12 at Mount Saint Mary College- ECAC Quarterfinals): Scored two goals to move him into fourth place in school history with 79 career points...It was his sixth career game winner...

(09/02 at Clarkson University): Contributed a goal making the score 4-0 at 60:52.  He also added an assist...  (09/05 vs. John Jay College): Gave NJCU a 1-0 lead 23 seconds into the opening half on an assist. Currently, with six points on the year, scored the eventual game-winner sent a cross from the left endline that was one-timed off the right post... (09/08 vs. College of Staten Island): Scored two goals in the first 8:08 of action, currently he is the team leader with 11 points... (09/09 vs. North Carolina Wesleyan College): Named to the All-Tournament Team of the 4th Annual NJCU Liberty Cup for the third consecutive year...(09/10): Named New Jersey City University Male Athlete of the Week... (09/10): Selected the New Jersey Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the first time of his career. For the week, he tallied eight points, with three goals and two assists, and two game-winning goals.  Overall he is tied for the team lead with 11 points, and has collected four goals and three assists. (09/25): Ranks among the NCAA Division III national leaders in points, tied for 30th in the country with 0.67 assists per game. Bilbao also lists 97th in points per game (1.78)... (09/29 at Richard Stockton College): Came off the bench for his first action in a week, and put the Knights ahead 1-0 at 67:03 of the second period, when he lofted a 30-yard shot under the crossbar, off an assist.The goal was his sixth of the season and 54th career point, moving him into a tie for seventh in school history... (10/04): Tied for 40th nationally in assists per game (0.60) and 79th in points per game (1.80)... (10/09): Tied for 30th in assists per game (0.60), with six assists in 10 games.  With 18 points, he is 74th nationally in points per game (1.80). He climbed from 40th and 79th, respectively, last week in the two categories... (10/13 vs. Montclair State University): Scored two second half goals, the first goal gave NJCU the cushion it needed against one of the top defensive teams in the nation at 65:38. Just 36 seconds after missing an open net on a nifty spin move in the box, he again used his electric skills to create offense. For second goal he used a similar spin move to create separation in the left side of the box, then fired in a shot from 15 yards into the right side of the net. It was his seventh goal and Carpio’s third assist of the year. With 19 goals and 20 assists he moved into seventh place in school history with 58 points... (10/15): New Jersey City University Male Athlete of the Week... (10/20 vs. The College of New Jersey): Put NJCU ahead 1-0 just 6:42 into the contest with his third game-winner of the year when he received a thru ball from the right sideline it was his 25th point of the season and moved him into sixth place in school history with 61 points... (10/31 vs. Ramapo College; NJAC Semi-finals): Tackled on the right side of the box as he raced down the endline and the Knights were awarded a penalty kick which gave the Knights a 2-0 lead going into the half...  (11/10 vs Castleton State College (VT) at NJIT; NCAA First Round): Credited with his 23rd career assist, now tied for fifth all-time... (11/11 vs Hamilton College at NJIT; NCAA Second Round): Registered his 10th assist of the year and 24th of his career to move into a tie for fourth all-time, with an assist to open the scoring... (11/06): First-ever recipient of the newly-established Pat Baldiserra Midfielder of the Year honor. Earned First-Team All-NJAC, he is now a three-time All-NJAC selection and two First-Team All-NJAC honoree... (11/17 vs. Montclair State University; NCAA Second Round):  The NJAC Midfielder of the Year, sent a
perfect thru ball on the ground on the right of the box, Acuna beat a defender and stuck a one-timer inside the right post for his 12th goal of the season. Bilbao registered his 11th assist of the year-matching his twin brother JONATHAN BILBAO for the team lead-and the 25th of his career, good for fourth in school history...


 

2006 Highlights:  (09/03 vs. Stevens Institution of Technology):  Assisted on NJCU's opening goal with a pass from the left endline to the left post. Scored his first goal of the year at 45:53, for what appeared to be a sizeable lead 2-0 lead...(09/04): Named New Jersey City Male Athlete of the Week...(09/05) Named to the inaugural D3Kicks.com National Team of the Week as a midfielder after a solid weekend of action, scoring three points, with a goal and an assist...(09/09 vs. Dickinson College): Scored twice in NJCU's 2-0 win over Dickinson. Put NJCU in front just 26 seconds into the second half with his second goal of the season, as he buried a one-timer from the top of the box off a cross from the left wing. Opened up a 2-1 breakaway, dribbled upfield 30 yards, and with the Devils keeper attempting to cut off the angle, vaulted a shot into the upper portion of the net at 65:40 for what proved to be his first career game-winner and third goal of the season...(09/10): Voted Most Valuable Player of the Third Annual NJCU/adidas Liberty Cup. It was the second consecutive year he was named to the Liberty Cup All-Tournament Team...(09/13 vs. Keystone College): Assisted a goal by Frank Rosenthal in an 8-1 win...(09/20 vs. Ramapo College): Beat two defenders on the endline, and fed a pass to the top of the six-yard marker to assist Ronnie Sanchez on the eventual winner in NJCU's 2-1 victory...(09/27 vs. Kean University) Gave NJCU a 1-0 lead when his shot that too hot to handle, deflected off of the Kean keeper's hands and into the net for a 1-0 lead, for his fourth tally of the season...(10/19 vs. Mount Saint Mary College, NY): Scored his fifth goal of the season off an assist from freshman forward Frank Rosenthal to give NJCU the lead 1-0 at the half...(10/31 vs. Rutgers-Camden University): NJCU struck first at 55:34 of the second half as Edison assisted teammate Jamel Carson in goal to put NJCU up 1-0.  It was Bilbao's fourth assist of the year...(11/11 vs. Kean University): Helped in a 1-0 lead at 38:51 of the first period, when he assisted JUAN VERA,  in scoring his first goal of the season as he buried a shot into the lower right corner off a cross into the box from the right side in the win over Kean. This assist for gives him 15 points on the season (five assists).
