For starters: A transfer from Middlesex County College who will fortify NJCU’s middle infield defense…Earned All-Region and National Player of the Week honors at MCC.
Middlesex County College, 2005-06: Played two seasons at MCC for Coach Michael Lepore…Posted a two-year average of .318 (82-258)…Finished his career 13-for-15 in steals…In 2005, earned ABCA/Rawlings NJCAA Division III All-District G and All-Region honors…Also named First-Team All-Garden State Athletic Conference and team MVP…On April 5, 2005, he was named the NJCAA Division III National Player of the Week…In 2006, played in 37 games, batting .319 (45-141) with 11 doubles, one triple and 21 RBIs…Stole seven bases in eight attempts…In 2005, batted .316 (37-117) in 33 games, with three homeruns and 29 RBIs…Was 6-for-7 in steals…Helped the 2006 club to their best season in school history while advancing to the Division III Region XIX championship game.
