Biography

Alvarez on Fleischman: “Dave is a returnee this year and is in his last year of play as he looks to graduate at May’s end.  A three year letter winner and a great teammate, we look for Dave to once again come off the bench for us.  Here is a kid who did not play in high school and has improved so much over the past three years.  I look for Dave to have a good year and contribute in any way possible.”
 
2009 Highlights: (3/10 vs. Drew University at the Russ Matt College Invitational): Ripped a three-RBI triple in his first at bat of the year...(4/27 at Centenary College):  Went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs...

High School: A June 2004 graduate of Bayonne High School in Bayonne, NJ…Did not play high school baseball for the Bees…A four-year basketball player for Bayonne, including two seasons of varsity for Coach Jack Hladik…A member of the 2001 and 2003 HCIAA Hudson County champion teams…Still plays basketball in the Bayonne Recreation Men’s Basketball League.
