2022: Appeared in seven games as a pitcher as a junior, making two starts on the bump … tied for team lead in wins (2) and had the lowest whip on the team (1.22) ... tossed a scoreless inning of relief in season-debut against Anna Maria (3/5) ... first-career start against Nebraska Wesleyan (3/6) and went five innings, giving up only one run, while punching out four ... earned first-career win in stellar performance against Baruch (3/22), striking out a career-high eight, giving up no earned runs and allowed just four hits over his six innings of work ... recorded a victory in next start against St. Elizabeth (3/31), going five innings, striking out three and allowing three runs ... threw three innings in his final appearance of the season at Rowan (4/10).

2021: Appeared in six games as a sophomore during the shortened 30-game season, all in relief … made his debut with 0.2 innings and no earned runs at William Paterson (3/11) … threw 1.0 scoreless inning and struck one out vs. William Paterson (3/27) and at Rowan (4/9) … tossed a season-high 2.0 innings, allowing one earned at William Paterson (4/16).

2020: Did not see time as a rookie before the season was cut short due to COVID-19.

High School: A 2019 graduate of Union High School … four-year baseball team member, including two years on varsity.

Personal: Son of Vicky and Jaime Fernandez … has one twin brother, Zachary, who is a pitcher on the University of Rhode Island's NCAA Division I baseball program.
