Honors and Awards:NJCU Athlete of the Week (3/31/2014)2014 Highlights: (3/2 vs. SUNY Oswego): struck out three and walked three, allowing a pair of runs and six hits in 5.0 innings...(3/8 vs. Juniata):  got the out he needed to preserve the NJCU lead ..earned his first save of the season and third of his career...(3/14 vs. Waynesburg): allowed four earned runs and six hits with three strikeouts and four walks in a 114-pitch, 7.1 inning outing...(3/20 @ SUNY Old Westbury):  earned a nine-pitch, three-out save—his second of the season—which included an important double play...(3/25 vs. Mount St. Mary): In 9.0 innings over 104 pitches, he scattered five singles and fanned eight (four swinging, four looking) walked one batter and allowed one earned run...picked off a pair of runners... (4/1 vs. Baruch): faced five batters in 1.2 innings of relief (17 pitches), striking out one, while picking off the lone batter who reached base on an error...(4/5 @ Rutgers-Newark-game 1): won his second game (2-2) with three strikeouts (two walks) in 2.0 innings...(4/12 @ Kean-game 1): allowed three runs and seven hits (six singles) with two strikeouts and three walks over 100 pitches...(4/19 vs. William Paterson): went 7.1 innings, allowing two earned runs and five hits with two strikeouts and three walks over 96 pitches in a no-decision...(4/24 @ Ramapo): claimed the win (3-5) with seven strong innings, allowing three runs and six hits with four strikeouts and six walks... (4/29 @ Gwynedd-Mercy): fired a complete-game five-hitter... allowed just one fifth-inning run and five hits with six strikeouts and three walks over 128 pitches... picked a runner off second base in the bottom of the first inning...(5/6 @ FDU-Florham): struck out three batters in the ninth 2013 Highlights: (2/15 @ Southern Virginia): Charged with the hard-luck loss (0-1), allowing two unearned runs in the ninth, against two hits and a walk without recording an out.Â
(2/16 @ Washington & Lee - Game 2):Â Struck out seven batters in seven innings, allowing just three hits and no earned runs.Â
(3/25 vs. Washington (MD)):Â Took the loss (1-2), allowing six earned runs and 10 hits in 4.1 innings, walking three.Â
(3/30 @ TCNJ):Â Threw seven outstanding innings in game two, allowing two earned runs (three total) and seven hits with four strikeouts and two walks over 108 pitches. He threw a scoreless eighth inning, allowing one hit over 10 pitches.Â
(4/6 vs. Rutgers-Newark):Â Suffered the loss in game one as he allowed three runs and 10 hits with three strikeouts and one walk over 110 pitches in a complete-game effort. He retired the first 10 batters of the game in order.Â
(4/16 @ Baruch):Â Threw 2.2 innings of relief over the sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth innings while allowing one run against three hits with two strikeouts.
2012 Highlights: (3/12 vs. Rhode Island College @ Russ Matt Invitational):Â Made his first start at second base and had seven assists.Â
(3/16 vs. Framingham State @ Russ Matt Invitational):Â Pitched in relief in both games and impressed. In game one he tossed 2.0 innings, allowing no earned runs and two hits, with three K's and one walk.
(3/24 vs. #27 St. Joseph's - Maine): Started game two in centerfield, then moved to pitcher to strike out three, walk one and allow no earned runs (one total) and two hits in 2.0 innings. He owns a 0.00 ERA in 7.0 innings this season.
(3/25 vs. #27 St. Joseph's - Maine): Entered in relief in the eighth inning and claimed his first collegiate victory (1-0) while maintaining a perfect 0.00 ERA in six appearances on the mound this year over 8.2 innings. In 1.2 innnings he allowed just one hit with one strikeout.Â
(3/27 vs. John Jay):Â Started the game at second base before coming into the game with two men on and no outs in the ninth inning and despite walking a batter, recorded two ground ball outs to end the game to earn his first career save while maintaining a league-leading 0.00 ERA in 9.2 innings of work.Â
(4/10 @ FDU-Florham):Â Made his first career start at shortstop before coming in as NJCU's third pitcher, to improve to 2-0 on the mound this year. He tossed 4.0 shutout innings against two hits, with three strikeouts and three walks. Offensively, he scored twice and posted a 2-for-5 effort.Â
(4/13 vs. Kean):Â Made his first career start and took the loss (2-1). In 5.0 innings he allowed six earned runs (seven total) and eight hits with three walks and two striekouts.Â
(4/20 @ TCNJ):Â Threw 1.2 innings of relief, allowing one run and four hits with a strikeout.Â
(4/21 vs. Rowan):Â Suffered the loss in relief (2-3), allowing just one run and two hits with a strikeout in 1.2 innings.Â
(4/28 @ Richard Stockton):Â Took the loss in relief (2-4), allowing only two runs and three hits in 3.1 innings, walking three.Â
High School: A June 2011 graduate of Kearny High School…He played four seasons of baseball (three varsity) for coach Jim Sickinger as a second baseman and closer.
