2012 Highlights: (3/16 vs. Framingham State @ Russ Matt Invitational): Was one of four NJCU players with multiple hits, going 2-for-3 with one RBI and a double.
(3/22 vs. St. Joseph's - Brooklyn): Struck out the side in a 1-2-3 eighth inning.
(3/24 vs. #27 St. Joseph's - Maine): Gathered a rolling base hit and fired a long strike to the plate for an incredible outfield assist, gunning down a SJC player at the plate in game two.
(3/27 vs. John Jay): Pitched the seventh and eighth innings before opening the ninth. In 2.0 innings, he K'd two, walked one and allowed one earned run and two hits.
(3/28 @ Lehman): Had an RBI.
(4/1 vs. Rutgers-Newark): Went 2-for-4 with one run.
(4/3 @ King's): Bumped his batting average up by going 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBIs and a double.
(4/5 vs. William Paterson): Started the game as catcher, but pitched two-thirds of an inning of perfect ball in the eighth.
(4/7 vs. Rutgers-Camden): Scored twice, going 2-for-4 in game one.
(4/10 @ FDU-Florham): Batted 2-for-4 with three RBIs.
(4/17 vs. Baruch): Was 1-for-3 with two RBIs.
(4/19 vs. TCNJ): Was 4-for-5 with one run.
Before NJCU: Began his collegiate career at Sussex County Community College before transferring to Bergen Community College…He did not play in junior college…He transferred again to Wilmington University (Division II) from 2009-11…He didn’t play in 2010…In 2011 he batted .278 (5-for-18) with two RBIs in 13 games (one start)
High School: A June 2008 graduate of Hoboken High School in Hoboken, NJ…Played four seasons of baseball (two varsity) for Coach Buddy Matthews…Also ran two seasons of varsity indoor track for Coach Judy Burrell…Helped lead the Redwings to back-to-back Hudson County championships in 2007 and 2008 and the 2007 North II Group I state sectional title with a 5-4 win over Lyndhurst High School…Played in two county and three state playoff games..
