2021: Joined the team later in the season as a freshman, making two appearances in net … saw 20:46 in goal during his collegiate debut, making his first-career save during the 8-0 win over CCNY (9/22) … also saw 28:40 of action in net in the 9-1 win over York (10/11).

High School: A 2021 graduate of Kearny High School ... four-year soccer team member ... team captain as a junior and senior ... team won the County and League titles ... also a four-year track team member.

Personal: Son of Bonnie Gates and Hector De la Cruz ... has four siblings, Erik, Hector, Christopher and Vanessa ... pursuing a career as a physical education teacher or athletic trainer.
