2009 Highlights: (4/4 at the Osprey Open, Hosted by Richard Stockton College, Pomona, NJ): Blew away the field of 37 athletes in the 400-meter dash, timing 49.28 seconds- 21/100th of a second faster than the event's runner-up...It easily surpassed the ECAC Championship qualifying standard of 50.20 seconds...Ran the leadoff leg of the 4x100-relay which finished first in the field of 12, timing 42.21 seconds to easily surpass the ECAC Championship qualifying mark of 44.00, but narrowly missing the NCAA provisional standard of 41.90...Also ran the leadoff leg in the 4x400-relay which timed 3:20.98, finishing second and surpassing the ECAC qualifying mark...(4/7): Named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Rookie of the Week for the third week of the outdoor season, following his performance at the Osprey Open on April 4th...This is the first time in his career he has received this award, although he received NJAC Indoor Rookie of the Week in week nine of the indoor season, on March 2...(4/18 at the CTC Championships hosted by Richard Stockton College in Pomona, NJ): Ran the leadoff leg of the 4x100-meter relay, in which the team finished third, timing 44.40 seconds...(4/24 at the 115th Penn Relays, University of Pennsylvania, Franklin Field, Philadelphia, PA): Ran the opening leg of the 800-meter relay, which timed 1:26.61 overall, placing 26th overall among 55 schools and first of seven Division III teams...Also ran the opening leg of the 4x400-meter relay, timing 3:19.07 to place 52nd of 81 schools and third overal among nine teams in the seventh of nine heats...It easily surpassed the ECAC standard of 3:26.50 and was nearly two seconds better than the previous season-best mark of 3:20.98...The time was the best of 12 Division III schools in the 1600-meter relay competition...(5/2 at the 2009 NJAC Track and Field Championships): Ran the first leg of the 4x100-meter relay, which finished first, qualifying for the ECACs in a season's-best 41.98 seconds, defeating the six-team field by 24/100th of a second...
